How I Fell in Love with Mexico
As a professional travel writer, I get paid to travel the world, sharing stories from far-flung corners of the world. Over the past 20 years, I’ve traveled to over 150 countries and lived in the US, UK, Spain, Singapore and the Netherlands.
In 2021, I decided to move to Mexico temporarily with my digital nomad family in pursuit of a fun and free lifestyle. We absolutely fell in love with the community, the diverse food and colorful, vibrant culture here. Today, we’re based in San Miguel de Allende and still love our Mexican life.

Dia de Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is my absolute favorite Mexican tradition.
